Hi,
I'm not sure these are necessarily ImageAssist related issues but thought I would ask in case you have seen this happening elsewhere.
Windows 10 pro x64 image built on Latitude E5540.
Issue #1
We are starting to get OptiPlex 5040s with this image deployed and we are seeing about 40% failure rate to join the domain. We have wireshark capture logs of successful and unsuccessful joins if needed. The network ports appear to be active but upon reaching the login screen, the network icon shows no connection. After logging in as Administrator, the network connects and we can then join the domain manually.
Issue #2
All the customization has been done under the Administrator profile. During IA installation I set the Administrator profile to be copied to the Default profile so the Start menu tile customization would be applied to new users when they login. This all works but when opening Explorer, in the Quick Access shortcut list, the Desktop shortcut points to the Administrator Desktop folder instead of the user's Desktop folder.
Issue #3
During the initial power on, some computers are failing Windows setup with this error: "The computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error. Windows installation cannot proceed. To install Windows, click OK to restart the computer, then restart the installation." This has actually been happening across various Dell models since Vista so it probably not specific to ImageAssist. The computers that give this error are fresh out of the box and are not being powered off mid-setup.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
